This Design combines the past and present of Tyr city, and creates a place for rebirth of the city.
It’s designed to increase the economical cycle in its surroundings, and to be a destination for cultural tourism and scientific Lab in the heart of Tyre city. Design make it an extension of the old lanes in the historical city, in a way the project is set to link the old city (old Neighborhood now) with the archaeological site. Also, it serves as the revival of the old neighborhood, that will be the scene of commercial and cultural interaction between the Researchers and trainees in the project and among the inhabitants of the Neighborhood lanes.
As for the architectural volumetric blocks the project is considered belonging to its’ surrounding Architectural fabric, And these Architectural blocks were compatible with the old composition of the city in scale wise. While it belongs to Contemporary architectural design regarding its features, and there was the combination of new materials, with environmental or heritage elements, and using it in a modern style.
